Folded Brochures FAQs

Which fold should I choose?
Tri-fold (DL) is the all-rounder for menus and service lists — six panels that fit a DL envelope. Half-fold (A5/A4) suits image-led pieces and price lists. Z-fold reads as a sequence or timeline. All are straight folds we crease and fold in-house.
How do I set up my panels?
Supply a double-sided file with panels in fold order. On tri-folds the inner fold-in panel is 2–3mm narrower — use our free template per format so the panels nest correctly. Two pages = the outside spread and the inside spread.
What bleed and resolution do you need?
3mm bleed on all edges, 300dpi, CMYK, PDF preferred. Keep text 4–5mm inside the trim and clear of the fold lines.
Will the print crack on the fold?
No — we crease the stock before folding on our Duplo creaser, so the toner doesn't crack on the fold even on heavier laminated card. It's a common problem with digital print that we design out.
What stock do you recommend?
150gsm art is our standard — folds cleanly and feels professional. 250–300gsm with a laminate suits premium menus and rate cards.
What is the minimum order?
50 brochures — true digital short-run, no big-print minimums.
How fast is turnaround?
Standard 2–4 working days, with a same-day proof. Lamination adds about a day. Local Mount Maunganui pickup available.
Can you help with design?
Yes — supply print-ready artwork, or we'll set up your panels and bleed from your logo and copy for a small design fee, with a proof before printing.
